Community Involvement
At SkinPro Studio, we believe that communities are stronger when they come together and support one another for a common goal. Whether the outreach is in the community you live in or work in, communities thrive when you know your neighbors care.
That said, at the beginning of 2025, we set out on a mission to find ways to give back to our local area. Specifically, we were looking to give back in a hands-on way rather than simply donating money or products alone. We’re happy to say we’ve done a few things that we’re really proud of and excited about!
We recently started our massage business and wanted to highlight our offering by providing free chair massages to an establishment we believed would be rightfully deserving of such an idea. We then combed through the Charleston calendar of events for 2025 and noticed Teacher Appreciation Week. We couldn't think of a better way to honor our educators, teachers, and staff than to give them free chair massages during this week!
We ended up hosting events at West Ashley High School, West Ashley Center for Advanced Studies, CE Williams North Campus, Ashley River Creative Arts, and Springfield Elementary. During the course of Teacher Appreciation Week, we gave 80 free chair massages, provided gift cards for free massages and facials, and gave away SkinPro Studio-branded products. Everyone who received a massage was so thankful and grateful! It really gave Hank so much joy to do this for so many deserving educators! We’re looking forward to growing the relationship that we started with each of these schools throughout this year and into the next.

During the week, we were able to highlight the women-owned businesses that share our space. Better Beauty & Wellness, Indigo Lash Studio, and Fit Fierce & Female all had information available and gifts to raffle away to each school. Being able to support such strong and well-loved women-owned businesses and connecting them with a piece of the community was something we’re also proud of.
Lastly (for now), we hope you have noticed the urban meadow project we have been working on at the studio! The concept is to return some of the “wild” to the city, increase the opportunity for pollinators, and bring a smile to the faces of our clients and neighbors. So far, we have had a great time and look forward to the challenges as the seasons change. Follow us on Instagram to see our progress as the meadow changes through the seasons!
To finalize our thoughts: we hope everyone talks about our business and shares the information, but at the end of the day, we have a goal of being ingrained in our community. We intend to continue taking action, meeting people, and most of all giving back through community outreach!
If you have a community event or idea that you would like us to support, please reach out. We are always looking for ways to give back.
