How to choose a facial at SkinPro Studio

One of the questions I hear most often is, “Which type of facial should I schedule?” I also hear, “That went by so fast!” when we reach the end of an appointment.

Those two things led me to rethink our facial menu and, hopefully, make scheduling your facial treatment a little easier.

A Simpler Way to Choose Your Facial

Our new facial menu is divided into two categories: Facial Treatments and Advanced Facial Treatments.

For our customized facial treatments, the menu clearly shows the amount of time you’ll spend with me. Instead of trying to decide which modalities or techniques you need before you arrive, you simply choose how much time you’d like for your appointment.

A longer appointment may be a good choice if you want a more extensive treatment, have several skincare concerns you’d like to address, or simply enjoy having more time for massage and multiple modalities.

From there, we customize the treatment together.

I adapt the facial treatment to you—I don’t adapt you to the treatment.

That means you don’t have to sort through a long list of add-ons, modalities, or predetermined choices before your appointment. Your facial is customized for the skin and the person you bring me that day.

Even with clients I’ve treated for many years, no two visits are exactly the same. Your skin changes. The seasons change. Travel, stress, emotions, lifestyle and environment can change. You are also different from every other client I see.

Your facial should reflect that.

What Makes an Advanced Facial Treatment Different?

Our Advanced Facial Treatments are a little different. These treatments combine specific modalities because I believe they work best together or because the treatment itself requires a particular protocol.

They still aren’t scripted, but they are more structured by design.

For example, I believe a microcurrent lift performs better when paired with cool plasma and LED therapy, so that is how I structure the treatment. Cosmetic microneedling benefits from LED therapy afterward, so LED is incorporated into that service as well.

Some advanced treatments also have additional costs involved in providing them, including professional supplies and single-use components such as microneedling cartridges.

Rather than separating everything into a long list of upgrades and add-ons, I’ve designed these advanced facial treatments to include the modalities I believe will give you the most complete treatment.

Massage therapy has traditionally been scheduled by time, and I’m hopeful this new approach to scheduling facials will feel just as simple.
