We provide safe, no downtime peels and some peels with minimal downtime.  Choosing a chemical peel is something we believe you should do with a professional.  We use a variety of peel ingredients including AHA, BHA, TCA, Botanical, enzymes and retinols.   Some tips regarding peels:

  • Do not have another facial treatment 7 days prior or 14 days after a peel, this includes WAXING the area.
  • Follow the home care instructions given by your therapist to optimize your outcome results and minimize any side effects
  • No direct sun exposure immediately after a peel
  • No changing of skincare products during the 14 days after a peel unless instructed by your therapist.
  • Call us with concerns.  No concern is too small, we want your feedback
  • We may ask you to return to the office for a follow up during the peel process

We list these peels to show the variety of what is offered.  We often blend a peel, customize a peel or layer a peel for different outcomes.  Unless otherwise indicated below all peel treatments include:

The types of peels we offer are:

​Enzyme Peel
Fruit enzymes are used to resurface the skin by digesting surface cells.  Different fruit enzymes are used including citrus and pumpkin.  Some enzyme peels also contain AHAs to help lift surface skin cells during the process.  Enzyme peels are the mildest form of chemical exfoliation and usually has no downtime or flaking of skin.

Green Peel
This peel is a combination of botanical and sea derived ingredients ground into a fine powder.  This powder is combined with another ingredient to formulate a custom treatment for your skincare goal.  This stimulates increases circulation, stimulates collagen and provides a beautiful glow to the skin.  While there is no downtime, the skin will feel “prickly” for several days.   You may experience some pink skin immediately after the peel as it is massaged into the skin.  The redness diminishes over 24 hours.

AHA Peel
This is either a lactic or glycolic peel or a combination of the two.  AHA peels help to lift skin resurfacing the skin for improved tone and texture.  This peel is a go to in the industry for improving skin.

BHA Peel
We utilize salicylic acid for our BHA peels.  This peel is designed to be absorbed into the skin through hair follicles.  It melts into the skin to assist with the bacteria associated with acne.

AHA/BHA blend
This is a blend of acids allowing for improvement of skin texture and address breakouts.  This would be a more advanced peel than the individual acids. This peel may result in some flaking of the skin in the days following the treatment.

Perfect Derma Pro Clinical Peel

This AHA BHA combination is designed to improve fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation (discolorations), acne scarring and breakouts.  The super antioxidant Glutathione is this peels super power healing skin and providing advanced skin signaling technology.  Effective with little to no downtime. Best performed every 7 to 10 days for optimal results.

Modified Jessner

A modified Jessner peel contains lactic acid, salicylic acid and resorcinol.  This peel is designed to address skin aging of fine lines & wrinkles, breakouts, scarring from acne breakouts and sun damage pigmentation.  It is a blended acid peel making it more advanced than individual acid peels.  This peel may have some flaking of the skin in the days after treatment.

BioRePeel Cl3

This bi-phase peel features 35% TCA in a safe penetrating formula.   This is our GO TO peel for sensitive skin!  This peel is a great choice if your goal includes improving:

  • skin laxity
  • fine lines
  • wrinkles
  • pigmentation
  • acne
  • skin luminosity (tone and texture)

The facial peel is performed in steps:

  • An exfoliating cleanser and activator is massaged into the skin and removed
  •  A salicylic charcoal mask and activator is then applied and removed
  • The peel is applied, rubbed into the skin and removed

This peel has little to no downtime but you may experience increased dryness and possible slight flaking up to 48 hours after the treatment.  Best performed weekly for 3 to 4 weeks for optimal results as results are cumulative.   Clients using AHA, BHA, and/or Retinols in their home care routine must stop these ingredients for 7 days.  You should also avoid using AHA, BHA, and retinol for 7 days after the peel application.
